Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

are there any plans to improve the Diplomacy system ?
(like non-aggression treaty, open war, cold war, truce, security / trade / defense pact, military alliance etc.)

+ q, are the compressed or large log files supported already ?

Is there a way for me to "refresh" my account back to default (all stats/entries/everything).
If not, could we have one please?

go in to the option on the main screen and choose "Clear save"

Not immediately, but it's on the list (diplomacy enhancements). Zipped flight logs support will be there later today with Inara update (as I hope, I need to finish urgent real-life job first).

If do you mean Inara account, simply delete all your achievements/credits entries and your ships in fleet and you should be more or less on default clean state. Otherwise as Bob said above for in-game account.

I did mean my Inara account, my concern is that if someone has a lot of achievements and stuff they have to go through it achievement by achievement and option by option to get it cleared out. A button to wipe the slate clean, as it were, would be nice - something like "Clear Account" .. then a "delete from all_inara_sexy_dbs where cmdr_id = x"

I have a question, I have my allegiance set to Independent, how do I switch that? I am Federation and I want the allegiance to be with Felicia Winters

You click on your name to bring up your profile. Then go to rank and achievements. From there you will have achievements at top of the box under that you have Preferred Alliance. Click on that and in the second box you click on Federation and that should change it.
