I am a Bardic Envoy, travelling across the Bubble in the pursuit of knowledge & stories to tell. The modern Bardic Tradition is part lore keeper part Participating Observer, seeking out the important & powerful to tell their tales.
My name is Abaris Vidar Hangatyr, my call sign is VarangianCaptain, some know me as VarangianBard.
Recently, the widespread but little known Order of Bards & Skalds recently added another discipline to our curriculum: Diplomacy. There were Nine Envoys, including myself, sent forth from The College in separate directions. Our mission is to facilitate constructive dialogue between Factions who's interests align, & ascertain which Groups do the most good vs those that are a destabilising factor.

I first played Elite in 1985 on a C64 (Google it!) and loved it then. Had I known what it had become, I would've been here long ago. It's become everything I had wished it was back then and so much more... sooo kewl!
Many thanks to Artie and INARA - best tool and info site I've found for E:D... there's other good ones, but this one really stands out front!

Time for me to play in openspace after many time solo (150 hours).
I discover Frontier on Amiga CD32, today the same game is "Pioneer Space Sim".
OK ED is'nt with newtonian physics, but much more contents are available ...
