Pearl Harbor isn't a state...not even an island or city...it's a harbor in Hawaii.
Geez...I thought it was just Americans that were lousy at grography.
Thinking Pearl Harbor is a state would be like thinking Big Ben was a nation.

Umm, I'm referring to the punchline saying the Japs left in '40 when the attack actually occurred in '41. (geez I thought Americans were bad at history...)

Bearing in mind that not everyone here has English (or even American!) as their first language, maybe someone should explain that the phrase "in a state" can be used in English to mean 'In a very bad condition' e.g. battered and bruised, wrecked etc.

I agree, though, it was a poor joke

No, no, no. They will announce that they fixed every problem increased the performance of odyssey and added a bunch of new content including ship interiors. As a surprise update for the community.

I'm actually anticipating DOOM here. "Due to the losses last period as a direct result of ED:O's ~~failed~~ release that didn't meet expectations, the board has decided to discontinue development of further additions to the game, will concentrate solely on getting ED:O working to a bare minimal standard sufficient to be eligible for the console cash grab and be done with it. Additionally, we have no choice but to lay off 50% of the staff yet bonuses for the COs will ofc be doubled regardless" ... something bs like that. I'm hearing rumours that we lost another CM, hence the silence, so I have little hope at this point as to me this all looks like abandoning a sinking ship.

Just speculation among friends regarding FDev posting an ad for CM 3 weeks ago on LinkedIN. I also read a discussion on this in the FDev forums but I can't find it anymore.
