Ditto. I didn't know Inara was an ingame system until I flew though it on the way to somewhere else.

In the end the system has no fed faction nor am I active enough to orchestrate an effort to expand one there and flip it ^^

How fun is it to shoot up things? Since I'm going to be popping in as a new veggie, I was curious if it's possible.. to actually not kill anything in game? In terms of Pvp anyways. I speculate the possibility of being able to disable the opponents weapons/engines etc and then laugh and run.

I've built my Asp Explorer especially for getting away and giving my pursuer things to think about. There's been more than a few impressive ships to get away from me (Imperial Clippers are particularly good for getting away in normal space... the need for speed, baby).
Also, Archon Delaine has lasers that are particularly good against shields, but do no hull damage. So possibilities there, yah know?
