Willing to stab someone over a broken 70 inch flatscreen TV?

That was a seventy-inch, plasma screen TV...

So... how can I help you?

Jubei HimuraDon't worry about Oliver. What you see is what you get: a narcissistic, uncaring, asshole on a power trip.

He's a mix of Mark Hamil's Joker and Hellsing Ultimate Abridged's Alucard. He should always be read in Mark Hamil's Joker voice.

I pretty much always read his stuff in a more extreme version of Mark Hamil's Joker.

I think you could wander in to the galactic bar and generally outline your character - thats where many adventures begin and people meet for the first time...

(I'm out at Robigo if your out that way)

good luck

Kezika recommended me just one of her logs. Probably after I mentioned Rod Ironshaft's first two logs. But this is of similar quality, arguably better.

Eh, it’s more just a potato chip story, quick easy consumption for laughs but no real narrative to speak of.

For good narrative arcs KazukoHimura very well captured the depth and euphoria of making an identity for yourself to truly call your own, especially good for being in a “just a backstory overview” log. https://inara.cz/cmdr-logbook/244161/62241/ and they keep going strong the whole way.

I'm probably digging myself into a hole by asking this, but...how can one be 'seen' roleplay and writing wise around here?

Oh, thank you, that means a lot to me. And maybe my question was just answered. But now I have another question, and that's how to do it tastefully?

Currently logbooks are getting flooded, with more than 5 entries a day, and a lot of them aren't full RP, and just about gameplay directly. One was even just a bunch of Lorem Ipsum.

I briefly pitched a "logbook categories" idea to Artie a few weeks back, but until now, I didn't see a huge demand for such a feature.

Artie has floated the idea of the ability to post comments onto people's logbooks in the past, which I personally supported. That way, a discussion about a particular log can be kept in an appropriate area and the logbook kept "alive" for a little longer than simply appearing and then disappearing from the front page.

I do like that idea, I am just concerned about it being used maliciously.

*looks at own logs*

a) I really need to start writing again (yes, this is partly a cheap plug, so what?).

b) I'd really like to test that idea, if it really gets derailed too much Artie could still turn it off again.

There will always be dickheads on the internet. Just the way of life. Comments on logs is a nice idea and no doubt would come with tools to be able to moderate them.
