Probably not. The… results, or rather lack thereof, that Thargoid implants produce on improperly set up equipment would be pretty hard to explain away as experimental technology. (At least, I would assume they do. Doesn’t seem too far-fetched.)

Truthfully, I was also starting to run out of small-talk ideas between the characters so the only subject Kira would’ve had left was that mystery surrounding the Dedicant’s disappearance. But I’m sure it can be brought up another time.

Just an FYI for anyone going to be attending the "event" in the Galactic. The way I envisioned it was a buffet style catering service that was hired specifically for the event. It would have the most popular cuisines around the world and plenty of it. Talking 4 long buffet stands and a crew keeping the food available.

There will be live music/karaoke, and other event items you guys think would be appropriate for a staff thank you party. Just let me know and if it would work in the bar then we can implement it.

The one that's infested with Thargoids by the way. Getting there will be quite a task to do. And you'll find nothing but an empty port sadly.

It’s worth noting that while the station is abandoned in-game, we’ve sort of taken to just acting like the situation is slightly different for the sake of the RP sections.

(And most of the stations look 100% identical anyway, while there is very limited interaction available between players in them, so idk if anyone really uses them for anything other than picking up missions, shuttles, and buying/selling equipment and everything to do with Ody materials.)
