Cmdr. Ruby Heartless spent most of her young years traveling from the sol system to neighboring star systems for trading. While with her parents onboard the trading vessel Magellan Melrose. She became the chief liason for her parents trading company at the age of 10. the following years were spent travelling to stations for cargo hauls. As a result, Cmdr. Heartless spent a great deal of time meeting various commanders and presidents of space stations.

Once Cmdr Heartless reached the age of 25 the Magellan Melrose fell victim to a pirate attack. Her parents valiantly flew the ship in an effort to escape before suffering critical damage to their jump drive. in a last ditch effort her parents loaded her into the only escape pod and launched her from the failing ship. Shortly after returning to the Sol system and returning home to mars. Cmdr Heartless began working on tracking down the pirates responsible for her parents death.

Roughly 6 months later she tracked down the pirates and located their base of operations. Then waited for night to fall on the station. She snuck on board the station and executed the pilots while they slept...

After clearing the hangar selling the scrap heap ships and parts to a local trader. She caught transport on a smuggling ship. She travelled to the Dahan sector in search of credits to begin her new life. wanting something a bit quiter after the events onboard the Magellan Melrose, Cmdr Heartless spent her remaining credits securing a penthouse suite onboard a station in the Dahan sector. Working as a trade liason onboard the station was how she spent the next several years.

Once the events of the second emergence of the thargoids had been noted and the advance on the core worlds began. Cmdr. Heartless felt it necessary to once again return to the stars. With the small amount of money she had saved up from her job as a liason at the station. She informed her employer of her desire to leave.

About a week later. Cmdr. Ruby Heartless was then contacted by the Outer Worlds Network Corporation and offered a career in the pilots division. Cmdr Heartless readied her jury rigged sidewinder and began the long 330 lightyear voyage to the Kremainn star system. Once she arrived at the station she headed out on some bounty hunting missions in the local asteroid belts. with a wing mission in one hand and a large collection of bounties in the other commander heartless returned to OWN headquarters and cashed in shortly after Cmdr Heartless docked her sidewinder for the final time and purchased a Vulture Combat ship and a Diamondback Explorer and began her career as a pilot.

over the next few months the work with the outer worlds network corporation continued... though after some time the founders departed for destinations unknown... upon inspection of their flight decks... the ships were abandoned... shortly after my sister emerged... she was working with OWN but hid from me... her name... Aurora Nightstorm... she had married...  

her husband had passed a few months prior... and so she set out from home to see the beauties of the cosmos... both sisters now work for EIC... EAST INDIA COMPANY... most recently commander heartless participated in the evacuations of several space stations in the maia cluster... the starship Avalon was converted to rescue as many of the stations inhabitants as possible... eyewitness reports claimed her wings glistened as she arrived... and that the children asked if it was an angel. the commander converted 2 first class cabins into a waterpark for the children onboard to enjoy a relaxing swim during there several hundred lightyear journey to the new homeworld... several times commander heartless was spotted relaxing off duty by playing water volleyball with the passengers on the ship... the cargo bay had reportedly been converted into a nightclub... however onboard crew members deny any such knowledge as several systems that were travelled through had bans on any sort of narcotic or alcoholic substances... either way commander heartless proves to be beyond a humanitarian... the starship avalon ran over 40 rescue missions... and every single person that departed said it was a trip they would never forget...
