Lido “Lee” Attenson was born to a well-off family on Davy Dock, Procyon B 4, Procyon on September 12th, 3272. Growing up under the Sirius Corporation, he developed a deep respect for the company, as well as a disrespect for the Republican Federation government at the time, which caused many of his poorer friends and classmates strife. Sirius’s government at Davy Dock was notable for its social programs, which kept it’s populace happy and financially comfortable so that they could buy more things. Even the empire at least offered indentured servitude if their other social programs didn’t work; the Federation didn’t so much as offer that, so Lee felt he couldn’t trust them to help him if he was down.

As a child, he excelled in many of his classes, especially mathematics and social studies, and many told him he should be a pilot when he grew up. By 16, he was taking courses in flight, graduating with a certification to fly small vessels. While earning his full Pilot’s License, he worked as a museum guide. At 24, he earned his full license, purchased a sidewinder with the money he saved, and broke out into space, choosing to get his career started with some trade.

Trade was never an easy job in the Federation, and it took Lee a significant amount of time to earn his way through the ranks. He knew he needed a change to make more money, and opted to buy a Dolphin for passenger transport. Banking on his expertise in the tourism industry, he worked for a variety of different corporations, up until the day he founded Corvus Cruises. Corvus flew any passenger that was willing to pay, as long as they legally could. Flying passengers taught Lee two important things. Many people were seeking refuge out of the federation and into Sirius Government’s hands, and the rich tourists he transported were often very dismissive of these people, further driving a wedge between federal society and Lee.

Soon, he chose that he couldn’t continue, and flew off to imperial space, opting to rejoin the trading lifestyle. In a fitted Type 9, Lee flew medicines between producing and outbreak systems, making a lot of money off of it. By the time he had enough money to buy an Anaconda, the outbreak had ceased, and he needed to find more work. He fitted his Anaconda to mine in the Low-Temperature Diamonds gold rush and tripled his net worth in under a week. Now rich beyond anyone he had known before, and disillusioned with the Empire’s strange societal structure, he flew to where he was most comfortable; under the watch of Li Yong-Rui.

He found the New Republic, where they had just undergone a coup and required risky pilots to help stabilize Draguan Nu. His short stint as a combat pilot didn’t go unnoticed. He caught the eye of Niiyama “Nkizo” Kizo, which got him into the New Republic. Nkizo got Lee into the world of genefreaking, where one transfers their mind into the lab-grown body of an anthropomorphic animal, which greatly intrigued Lee. He later chose to genefreak into a hyena.

Now, he still freelances around Draguan Nu, allied to Sirius.
