CMDR ColaCat, known only as [Redacted] until being given the nickname by an Alliance recruitment officer, and formerly known as Cadet 132-313 while serving as an Alliance cadet, was a human male Mercenary. He became a Commander in the Alliance to restore the peace and an instrumental figure in the defeat of the Thargoids during the First Thargoid Incursion War. He hailed from New California now [Argent's Claim] and became a Mercenary, even completing the Robigo Run in just Nine Minutes with his prized ship, the Allegiant, and coming under the employ of The Sirius Corporation. He was best friends with the Hector Jimenez, his trusted copilot who swore a life debt to the Commander. Cola ran afoul of Sirius Corp after ditching a prized Shipment to avoid trouble with the Empire, owing the Corp a great deal of money as a result. His fortune seemed to have changed when he agreed to Join The Pilots Federation, but he became caught up in the insurrection against the Empire and Federation, after helping secure his allies a foothold, briefly fought in the Battle for Alioth, which allowed The Alliance to become what it is today. Cola fought with the Alliance for a number of years afterward, taking part in numerous operations and battles against Enemies of State.

After the Battle of Lave, Cola sought refuge with Aisling Duval—with whom he had fallen in love—Jimenez, and his prized ship on Emerald, which was under the control of the princess. There, he was captured by Sirius Corp Agents so that he could be charged and Executed for the debt that was still owed. Cola was frozen in Stasis and taken to a Sirius Black Site on Lucifer by Sirius Security Forces, where he remained Trapped in Stasis for months until he was rescued by his friends. After returning to the Alliance Fleet, Cola was promoted to the rank of Admiral and was given command of the Meowchwitz, a capital class carrier, for the second Thargoid Incursion. Cola led the Meowchwitz to Maia, where he, Jimenez, and the meowchwitz, with the help of independent Pilots, destroyed the Thargoids once more. Their actions allowed the Alliance Fleet to secure another victory.

The Second Thargoid Incursion, which saw the deaths of many including his dear friend, allowed the Core Systems to survive a little longer.

In the early days after The Second Thargoid Incursion, Cola continued to lead the Meowchwitz against enemies of The Alliance.

Having lost his friend, Cola left and returned to mercenary work, and even lost the Allegiant to numerous thieves and pirates. He continued to merc until he was brought back into the fight by a new faction called The Fatherhood, who carried with them a new prospective.
