After a long career as the deep space explorer which mapped the Orion Spur Shallows, the Halcyon has been refitted many times and currently serves as a rapid response vessel for the Fuel Rats, delivering repair and refuel to pilots in need. In it's off time it is used as a salvage and rescue vessel, serving to evacuate victims of thargoid station attacks and can be seen patrolling Li Yong Rui space in search of distress calls.
