Possible Life

After a month of break we are back on our route. On the course today, we have come across an ammonia world with planetary rings. It has a strange, shiny, beige color; and seas, continents, also an athmosphere rich of ammonia and oxygen. Planet is surrounded by icy ring belts. The furthest planet from the main star.
Our cartographer is a bit excited about the planet. After the detailed surface scan, I asked some of the scientists about it. They seem to be very rare planet types, especialy if they have rings around them. And the real excitement was about the possibility of carbon-amonia based life forms. Thats why the discovery of ammonia planets are almost important as Earth like ones.
As I write this log, science crew is flying down to the planet to do their research and collect some samples. The crew and I will be scanning rest of the system, until their return. There is still one more star and 8 more planets to check out.
