Taking a Break From the Earth Defense Fleet...

As expected, I made almost 3M Cr from the two recent Community Goals in the Okinura system. Feeling very pleased with myself I decided to head over to Thorne Station, pick up some power generators and start the first leg of a three-stop trade mission. I was interdicted by a native pilot while I was on my way to Thorne, shouting various threats at me, making the usual demands, etc.It's a lesson well learned before opening fire on *any* ship. If it's clean, you get yourself a nice Wanted label in the current system faction. Quite why a Clean pilot would yank a ship out of Super Cruise, make threats, etc. is beyond me but I now have first hand proof that it happens. So despite the efforts of the past week and actually earning Allied status with the EDF it looks like my alliance with the Earth Defense Fleet has hit a bit of a rough patch...
From previous trips around the Lembava system I happen to know that you can trade ships there at a nice discount. The trip there was about 100 LY give or take and didn't take me too long to make. I traded up to an Asp Explorer and then made my way to Onnes in the LFT 37 system where I was sure there was a discount in place for modules but now that I'm there that doesn't seem to be the case.
My Federation standing has taken a bit of a beating with tonight's events but I feel confident I can find a local, friendly Federal faction and start earning a bit more favour with them.
