Civitas Dei - Acceptance test

22 Jan 2020Poutnik Santiago
While I was thinking how to make some money, an oportunity met me half way. A local squadron accepted my request to join their group. Their initial test involves an exploration of couple systems about 50 to 80ly away and mapping ten of the most interesting planets on those systems and then selling the data to the cartography. Thats seemed like a nice kind of job, so I sold my second Viper that was parked in a Bernard system, bought a detailed surface scanner and set on my way and before I knew it I was in the third system and got my second surface scan done with perfect efficiency (just six probes per planet). So far just a a few scratches and burned hull from getting too close to the fireball after exiting hyperspace. I will let that fixed later on. Time to rest and continue tomorrow, learned a lot today from a fellow commander over the comm too. Learned more about mining and how to not get cought by pirates and be blowed into pieces. WHat a nice lad. The space might not be such a hostile place after all.
