I managed to visit all the crashed ships that I received those mysterious tip offs about, and rescued a few survivors in the process.In fact, they occupied escaped pods turned out to be quite profitable.
The surface prospecting has helped me get to grips with the wave scanner, and adjusting the range on the ship's scanner to spot POIs.
Everyday is a school day!
