While trying to gather 10 measly Painite I've had to make three separate attempts.Each has ended in FAILURE so far... It's maddening because I've mined thousands of tons of Painite in the past. This is not new territory for me. But this tiny amount, needed for an unlock, has consumed 3 hours and 40 million in rebuys already and it's still not complete!
First time I went out, I got all the way there before realizing... You guessed it! NO LIMPETS!
Second try: I mined 12 tons and decided to skip out to hurry up and get to the engineer. For some dumb reason I decided to stop off and sell the extra 2 tons because there was a station offering 798K/ton on the way. SOMEHOW I ended up selling the 10 and keeping the 2. D'OH!
Third run: everything went smoothly until I hit boost instead of reverse while landing at Jameson Memorial to switch to my FDL.
