"Good….morning? It's 04:23 and it's always dark in space. Cold too. Makes me miss warm early morning sunrises on Ekono. The dark blue sky turning orange as the sun rises over the horizon then feeling the warmth from the stars glow. It's beautiful. Makes me homesick thinking about it now. Haven't been planetside on Ekono in over a year now. Crazy now that I think about it."
<<Isabella: sighs>>
"Definitely plan on heading there after I drop in on how my extremely busy father who can't spend any time with his daughter because the Imperial Navy requires him twenty-four-seven, seven days a week of him. Ugh. Anyways, it's been several days since I've left New Beginning Asteroid Base in the Rosette Nebula. Made it to Hell Port and survived, obviously. Believe it or not but for an anarchy system run by pirates, it's doing really well. When I was synchronizing with the local navigation beacon I had one guy drop on me and scan my cargo hold. I actually engaged silent running and took off on him. Of course, he took the bait and chased so he wasted his time as I have nothing in my hold. To stop overheating I dropped a few heatsinks but those aren't overly expensive to purchase so no big deal on my end."
<<Isabella: chuckles>>
"I bet he thinks he lost a big score or something. Haha, pirates. But yeah, this place isn't that bad. Snooped around the system for a bit and came across a high grade emission signal. I dropped out of supercruise and came upon a massive graveyard of ships and floating debris. I salvaged what I could but came across a destroyed Type-9 Heavy with its top portion of the canopy completely blown out. The canopy structure was completely twisted. He probably took a missile or something there. Anyways, I decided I wanted to board the ship. Yeah, I know. 'Isabella, that's probably the craziest and stupidest idea you've ever come up with! It's way too dangerous!' Don't know exactly who I'm impersonating but as crazy as it was I still did it. Remlok suits don't really have a long oxygen supply without the life support module so I had roughly two minutes. I positioned the rear of my ship towards the Type-9's canopy and depressurized to safely lower the boarding ramp. Once the ramp lowered I pushed off towards the broken canopy making my way for a twisted piece of metal I could grab. Wasn't too far, sixty meters or so but still probably the most dangerous part because I'm obviously not attached to any tethers and if I miss my grab I'm floating away. But because I'm amazing at EVA, I made it without any issues. Well, the warped metal piece I grabbed shifted and that half scared the life out of me. But I managed to board through the canopy hassle-free. Inside I just found broken debris like shattered bits of canopy and metal floating around. By then I was around a minute of oxygen so I quickly moved towards the rear of the cockpit to access the doors to the personal living area. The doors were halfway apart so I managed to squeeze my little self through and look around."
<<Isabella: sighs>>
"Found some personal belongings. Tools. I picked up a touch screen device but nothing worth scavenging and making anything off of. Oxygen was nearly depleted so I couldn't search the cargo hold or anything. Plus the doors were sealed shut so I'd need to brute force it. I'd need a H.E. suit with longer self-sustaining life support. So I hopped back across and boarded my ship. Now I have this device that's locked. Not really worth it but maybe there's the secret to Raxxla on this. Ha!"
"Eh. But hey; nothing ventured, nothing gained. Except maybe a tablet. So...I decided to dock at Hell Port and while I did I watched a ship get completely blasted into pieces for loitering the mailslot. I think he was stuck but you know stations. Loitering? Punishable by immediate death. So he's gone now. Poor guy…..anyways! Spent the night there, kept mostly to myself and headed towards Thor's Helmet Nebula the next day. Now I'm here, spent a night at Sagan Research Center Asteroid Base, and now I'm about to take off. Aiming towards Barnard's Loop and neighboring Nebulas. Once I'm past that I'll be finally closer to home so that's exciting and sad at the same time as I come closer to the end. Ahh, and I forgot to mention I managed to get that pilot's contacts. Spencer Burk is his name. Talked to him some more and I learned he's a pilot that transports high value people by Orca. He's made good credits and bought himself an Asp Explorer on the side that he takes out to a few isolated locations to get away. I've been thinking whenever he gets back, I want to see if he wants to join me as a crew member. Be a team. I think it would-. No. Never mind. I shouldn't….I shouldn't yet. Too quick and he hasn't looked to be hired. It'd be too strange to drop that on him...but-. Ugh. Arguing with myself. Commander logging off before I sound completely crazy..."
