Log Book #19[31/12/3306]
"Alright, this will be short but hi! I've been away for sometime but I'm still alive in this dangerous little galaxy. Just haven't been making log entries. Only a little has really happened since early this December but there is one significant thing that happened and that was my trip up to Rackham Peak via one of my food squad mates' carrier. Roof of the galaxy and I have to say, it is absolutely beautiful up there. I mean at home, or my home of Ekono, you could look out a window from a skyscraper building and see everything below. It's kinda like that but the whole galaxy! Behind you is completely pitch black and empty almost but in front of you is this...galaxy. Our galaxy. Any explorer needs to go there."
"Anyways, spent Christmas there. Oh! I guess Merry late Christmas. A little late but oh-well. Tomorrow is 3307, a new year to begin so happy new years to those. Who knows what will happen that year but this years going out a little rough near its end. Just read that Thargoids have attacked in the Coalsack Nebula. I hate to say it but before I did mention in a log that it was a bit odd for us to be terraforming Ammonia worlds. And out there as well? I don't think our ammonia based neighbors are going to like that so I can't say I'm surprised. I don't have a long range ship that can travel that far and help. If I had a carrier…"
"So, I could hop carriers for fuel or spend time around a star in a Type 9. Not like that'll melt my ship but...options. Not sure yet. Honestly, I don't have the energy to jump into another burning station after what happened at Kepler. Plus heavy Thargoid activity. Ugh, I sound like I'm getting soft but I just don't have it in me right now. For now I think I'll...find something calming and non life threatening. Maybe exploration or transportation. Haha, I just said 'non life threatening'. Like that's something in this galaxy. Eh, anyhow. Commander signing out...or off. Whatever."
