Bridge this is CMDR Heartless we have just been alerted down here to a situation in main engineering. I am in the engineering core and I am seeing some disturbing readings down here from the main carrier hyperdrive systems. we recommend no more than a handful of jumps before we require a shutdown. The anomoly at this time is unknown... myself and the engineers have begun primary system diagnostics. however in order for us to be able to do a complete diagnostic we require a shutdown for several hours to complete the inspection... Bridge: This is CMDR DF. I read you CMDR Heartless, take whatever necessary measures you have to. if we are pushing too far please let us know. Bridge out.
CMDR Heartless: Roger that CMDR I will issue you a systems status report later today. you are able to finish the next couple hours of planned jumps. but after that we require shutdown. Main Engineering out.
Engineering staff 1: Well what is it?
CMDR: I dont know. keep in mind most of us are use to working on FSD drives for smaller ships. the drives these carriers use are a lot more sophisticated. that being said all Drake class carriers are required to have a senior engineer onboard. i already gave him a call he should be here soon.
