Another day, another stupid war and worse yet, stupider pirates trying to hijack cruise liners bringing tourists in to see our Earth-likes and eat Neritus berries. The pirates in system belong to the Silver Council who have been relentlessly drawing the Namte Fleet into huge lopsided battles of attrition, but not in the conventional sense. I massacred 33 of their ships before I was forced to dock tonight at Leichhardt Station because my Plasma Accelerator batteries generated so much heat I depleted my heat sink supply and caused a vac-leak in Engineering. Alaya, my fighter pilot assigned to the Victory complained of an itch she couldn't scratch and relative boredom nuking Eagles. Hopefully these backwater Federation mechanics can get the Victory back out of dock soon so I can resume thinning this herd of nimwits.
