Time to buy a new ship

The Orca has been a reasonably good ship for mining over the last week or so, but I'm getting poked fun off, particularly the crew over at Bowersox Mines. Its all harmless banter, since they know how much I'm actually making on those loads at the moment. That Orca has earned me a lot of cash over the last couple of weeks. But looking like a camper van from the 20th century, or like that ship from the old movie `Space Balls`, one of the guys has started putting bumper stickers on the back every time I land there - `have a nice day`, smiley faces and so on. I'm not reporting him, its kind of funny really, but I'll have to take them off when I get around to converting the Orca to a passenger ship. The mining campaign continues, going back and fourth extracting and selling…Its been a bit dull at times and I'm itching to get back into some combat action again. But campaigning operations such as this is much more efficient in the long run. By doing the same thing over, in this case mining, I have become quicker and better. By not flitting about doing one thing one day and another thing another day, I am not spending precious time swapping ships and modules, forgetting modules and having to go back and get them, or forgetting limpets and so on.
On the side, I have been drafting plans for my next project, a Phython super weapon. I broke the mining cycle last night though, temporarily. Seeing as I am going to buy a Phython anyway, I thought I would just get one early and finish off the mining campaign with that. It is a little slower than the Orca, but can hold twice the cargo. It takes a while to kit these things out though, finding the right modules. I think I'm almost there now, so will take the new Phyton out for its first proper run tonight.
