Looks like the salvage contracts keep coming in. That's just fine by me.
The rich and powerful sure love to leave plenty of scrap in the wake of their little political squabbles.
But I certainly can't complain. A busted FSD or some hydro-couplings can make for a few good credits.
Has got me thinking though, about recent events. . . .
The Galactic Summit, those NMLA attacks, the Feds and Empire bickering over all the conflicts like usual, and their fight in Paresa. . . These recent Thargoid attacks . . .
Here we are fighting about some silly ideologies, while those giant space bugs are lurking in the black,
ready to come tearing out of Witchspace like some horrific monstrosity you'd see in a Holo.
Oh, I even hear there's talk of lessening restrictions on Commander access to planetary contact and settlements.
Most of the time you fly through space and everything seems so . . . constant. So permanent. Like orbiting a star, just floating there. . . .
Other times, things change in a moment.
The times sure are changing it seems.
Well, I got some time to spare while these limpets grab what I'm here for....ah crap! Except for that one.
I swear, these limpets can't tell the difference between salvage and a chunk of steel.
. . . Ah well, still got this pack of beers I found at that wreckage yesterday, I think I'll just kick back here for a bit and watch the stars.
