Location: Galileo Starport
Been taking it easy here on Galileo Starport.
Just dealing with ship inventory, restocking supplies and food, and such. Getting ready for a job that'll take me into Empire space for a bit.
Read the Galnet about Theta 7 too. Tyburn. John Tyburn, and now he's just another dead guy for the history books.
Looks like the Empire got another "long live the empire" victory for themselves there.
Anyways. I was catching up on sleep, and I just woke up from a cool little dream I had about a job I did way back.
That Dylan Sylke guy was there.
I remember working with him, grabbing some data from a settlement.
The dream played out a bit differently than I remember, but it was reminiscent of those days when I was "boots on the ground".
. . . Boots were all I could really afford at the time.
It's been a while now, and I've been spending a lot of my time cramped up in this ship.
Other than a few planet side vacations or stopping by the bar while my ship's in the shop, I haven't really done much walking around on my own in a while.
(I can still feel my toes, so I must still have legs. . . Cool.)
I mean, it's not like I don't want to get out and about. I just haven't really had the need to I guess. I haven't really considered it honestly. . .
I'm always hopping from station to station, or just floating in the black, sleeping in my ship while I scout out wreckage.
Well! It's gonna be a new Star Year!
And it seems the Pilot's Federation has been greenlighting all kinds of planets for more human interaction.
It's about damn time I got out there and stretched these flimsy legs!
Bet there's some cuties here on Galileo too.
Time to go have a look around.
