So, after puzzling about it, I have switched my ships roles.The Asp has been converted to a Hunter for resource zones -- at least for awhile until I have more credits saved up. I had to gut my Diamondback a bit to make sure I had enough creds for the insurance on the other two ships. Added guns, shields, reduced the cargo space -- it's now more of a medium/heavy fighter. Much less nimble than my Cobra in the role, but packs more punch and can take more abuse. We'll see how that goes. Mapping the buttons has been the most annoying thing so far.
My new Fuel Ratter, based on my couple of abortive attempts at doing it, is the Cobra GTFOD. That's the Get The Fuel On Demand model. What? What did *you* think it meant?
She carries 8t of limpets, she's quick, she's cheap, and if there is some kind of PvP trap on the rescuee end of things, I will be very interested to know how she does at completely leaving them in the dirt.
