Leg One done. Leg Two: The Shallows.

Commander's Log, aboard the Helios Skimmer. Current location is docked on the DSSA Artemis Rest.
I've been out of the bubble plenty of times before. Trips to California, the Pleiades, even long trips out to Colonia... but this somehow seems different. I'm going the wrong way to get to my destination, for one. Going down the Orion Spur to get to Sagittarius A is a bit odd, but that's the route I've picked. So far, so good.
Leg one of my trip is done. Just 7500 or so lightyears.
( map taken from here )
The next leg is to the DSSA Kraut, out in Synuefuae CM-J d10-42. About 12,000 lightyears along the Outer Orion Spur, out into the Shallows.
That's going to be fairly easy. It's the next leg I'm concerned about. From the Kraut to the Dryman's Hope is going to be about the same distance as Sol to Colonia. The carriers in between aren't out there yet, so I'm just going to have to either land somewhere or just float around if I need a rest. Normally, heading to Colonia, I'd make a stop or two at a station on the CCH. No such luxury now.
Been in contact with a few people from the Alchemy Den, back in The Bubble. They're still busy mining and carrying on like the band of weirdos they are. Hope they never change. Anyway, where was I? Right. Space stuff.
Looking forward to seeing the Galaxy from an angle I never have before. Should be fun. Or maddening. Maybe both. Hell, maybe I won't come straight home. By the time I get to The Centre, I might be able to explore The Outer Arm, out 'west'.
I have a feeling that I'll be visiting Jameson on my next trip into the Bubble, though.
End log.
