23-10-3305 - I messed up - Day 2

Commanders Log; Date: 23-10-3305It's been a long journey.
I made it to Cats Paw late in the night. Remarkable that I'm still seeing traces of other commanders.
I decided to head further out. Heading towards the Prua Hypai system.
There's really not much out here... just blackness, stars and ice bodies.
Though I did discover some water worlds and ammonia based worlds.
Once I hit the Prua Hypai system, I was getting very tired... I haven't had much sleep. I'm struggling with time, and my body just won't switch off.
But something remarkable happened. I found a huge system, and there was a stellar phenomena. So I investigated.
Crystalised Microorganisms.
Amazing right? I've checked the codex, and there's not much there other than theories of their existence. I'm already looking forward to seeing what data analysts will say about them.
After that event, I found myself talking to myself. Realising that I'm slowly getting delirious, I decided to land on a nearby planet and get some shut eye.
But... this is where my tiredness screwed me over. I didn't check the details of the planet I was landing on. Turns out... it has a massive amount of gravity.
My ship was pulled in at a great speed as I entered orbit. It pulled me down to the surface and BAM, I'm bouncing around on the surface.... shields are down, my hull integrity is down to 15%...
What do I do?
I'm currently on this planet contemplating the future of this voyage.
I have AFMU modules, and I used a lot of them to repair my systems. But my hull is still low.
Do I continue? Do I head back?
I'm going to sleep on it and make a decision when I wake up. I've already proven myself an idiot by flying while tired. After a good rest I think I can make a sound decision.
To whoever is reading this, if I do continue, I may not make it back. Please make sure my log entries are viewed by other explorers, to warn them of the danger of flying while half asleep.
Signing off... for now...
