Fourth Logbook Entry - Picking Up the Slack

It started off slow and I thought I'd be even further behind schedule than I thought, but it turned around towards the end of the day. I had some long slogs where the possible Stratum locations were over 300,000 ls out. In fact, about half of my early day systems turned out this way. Luckily, the end of the night more than made up for it. I was jumping just a few systems at a time before finding many systems with 2 to 3 Stratum in them each. Jackpot! I'm still a little behind overall, but I think I can make up the remaining slack and get back on track by the end of tomorrow night. Tomorrow night... such a strange concept in space...
I flew through a beautiful red and orange unnamed nebula towards the end of my night too. I snapped a few quick pictures with the camera drone on the outside of the ship. Nothing special, but it felt good to break up the strict flight plan, even for just a few minutes. It gets me excited for the photography trip that's planned.
In other news, my calf cramped massively today. And it stayed cramped for like, 10 minutes. That's what it felt like at least. I'm usually good about drinking water, but my reserves aren't topped off which makes me a little nervous. Maybe I'll pop into some icy rings and scoop some ice soon to keep my mind at ease. I love the DBX, but damn is it small. It's absolutely necessary for all the Exobilogy that I'm doing. Tight landing spots would make my life so much more difficult in the Anaconda. But the Anaconda would make living arrangements fantastic. I've converted an entire cabin in my Anaconda with retro arcade games and a ping pong table. That sounds pretty sweet right now. Okay, I'm off to bed. I've got a busy day tomorrow.
Commander VladmirMcDoogle signing out."
