CMDR CADMUSDAY 1 ON A TRIP TO BEAGLE POINT
STARTING LOCATION OF RECORDING: COLONIA, JAQUES STATION
It has been a long time since I last left the safety of the Bubble. Worried, that Spirit of the Adventure might not be up to the task of making the the trip to Beagle Point, I jumped around various stations making few credits here and there. But the itch to get back there was only getting worse. Have you ever longed to hit the road with nothing but music and wind in your hair? That feeling of being broken free from all responsibilities and nagging feelings of restraint is like any other I have ever felt. So, on 4/9 finding out from locals at a bar, I hitched a ride with EGT A N T A R E S and made my way to Colonia and arriving the next day.
At first, the fears of what if settled in, making me doubt that I could attempt such a feat as to go to Beagle Point and return back to the Bubble. I mean it is all the way across the Milky Way. However, I have heard that it is the Explorer's ultimage accomplishment. If one makes such a trip as that, risking everything, you could make hell of a lot money. Is money what I am really after? *chuckle* Sure, who wouldn't want to be financially stable. But the adventure of seeing new places, planets, and being human and feeling alive, THAT--is what it's all about.
From Jacques Station, I decided that I will attempt to to make a trip to Beagle Point, no matter how long it takes me, because fortune does not smile upon those who are slaves at heart.
