Expedition to Faust nebula - Entry 1 - Begining

I wrote this log entry to keep some track of my exploration.I think about unlock Professor Palin engineer which wants a travel at least 5,000 ly from starting position. So the 5,000 ly is not too much but it is a lot using my current gear. And it was first step to buy an Asp Explorer and make some engineering to it. And now I have full exploration gear with 52 ly jump range. And now, find the target.
And in this time I saw an Astronomical magazine with nice photo of NGC 2440 nebula - The Faust Nebula. Astonishing nebula around one of hottest white dwarf HD 62166. And is around 5,000 ly far. So the target is chosen, vessel is complete, all supplies are on board, let's fly…
