"...like concert tickets"

CMDR's Log, Jan 13 3307:The Witch Head operation will soon switch to a new phase, that of restoration and repair. Shenve went all clear the other day, and the Thargoid presence in the remaining systems in the region including Wellington have been downgraded to "marginal". It's only a matter of time now.
Dakota was right! I'd been taking in commodities as mission rewards since we arrived in Witch Head, focusing mainly on those you can't buy anywhere: articulation motors, micro-weave cooling hoses, insulating membranes... modular terminals. New commanders on the engineering tour need modular terminals to pay for Marco Qwent's services in Sirius, a commodity that is heavily searched for and a frustration for many. Ms. Duncan insist we act as a solution to that problem in order to make sure this carrier is funded.
She initially set the price at 2x the galactic average of 2,474cr. When the few we had were sold off fairly quickly, she upped the price again. Just yesterday morning we had 311 in stock; GONE by the afternoon! "They're selling like concert tickets", she tells me. They're selling out faster than I can stock them! She now has the price set at the maximum allowable by the Pilots' Fed; 1000% - 24,740cr each! Just tonight, I was able to amass a stock of 409 Modular Terminals. When I left to the Ezra Point rescue ship to acquire a couple dozen more, our inventory was down to 22 when I returned!! If only the Traumahawk, and Midnight had larger cargo holds. My Python, the STS Marathon, had to be employed at least once today to make sure I could collect all the rewards on one trip.
Modular terminals alone have paid for another week for the Dark. We've also sold a sizeable amount of our outfitting inventory. Curious what other things we could do to improve sustainability. I believe Dakota mumbled "meta alloys" to me at one point. We'll see.
CMDR's Log, Supplemental:
Ms. Duncan has informed me we are sold out of modular terminals, HN shock mounts, as well as articulation motors. Both of us were surprised about the latter considering we had nearly 170 on hand.
