Arrived at the first of several carriers that were scheduled as waypoints on the trip. In this case Interc Horse's Quantum Cartographics, possibly the liveliest liveried ship in the galaxy.Once we had regained our eyesight, we sold some cartographic data (be aware of the 25% tariff) and decided to plot the next leg of our outbound journey.
As it turns out, the journey's length was beginning to wear on us and so we started to make use of the neutron highway, which cut the leg down from a projected 114 jumps to barely 50. We were feeling so energised by the quicker progress we were making that we decided to skip the rest of the carriers and plot a route direct to our final destination.
This means that our final part of the outbound journey will be 9600LY and 161 jumps (using neutron star boosts).
See you on the other side!
