So high up the plain of the galaxy I'm dizzy!

I've gone so high up the plain of the galaxy I'm dizzy. Furthermore, it's getting difficult to jump between stars because of the vast distance between them.
My highest (or northernmost) system was Wredguia DM-X c17-0 at + 1040 ly up the plane of the galaxy.
It felt strange being so high up. Stars are separated by 40 ly or more. Flight paths are sinuous with those distances.
Sometime the "impression of height", in the galaxy map makes me dizzY
