I have learned of an engineer who is known as "The Dweller." Rumor has it that amongst other things, he will engineer laser weapons. Seeing as I use laser weapons to drop my opponents shields, it seems a necessity to meet this Dweller. Sources say that I must deal with some underworld black markets. While I generally believe in following the rules, I suppose that, at my core, I believe we should be truly free. Free to trade commodities in particular. That said, I have heard of these grubs which look a lot like a human ear which are found in one particular system, Pavonis, I think. Look, I never understood the old Earth delicacy escargot... eating snails sounds gnarly.. anyway, eating bugs may fancy some people I guess, and why it's illegal I wouldn't know. However, I find this to be a better alternative to smuggling slaves. So here we go, I successfully acquired 68 tons of these, rather smelly, things. I will tell you, nothing about these makes me want to take a bite. On the other hand, it is remarkable to see them... a walking ear on the ground. Quite the thing to see really. Now with some research, I was able to find a few black markets and remarkably, with in a very small radius, I am able to find systems that have not only a black market, but systems which have outlawed these creepy-crawlies as well. After delivering 12 to Perry Station in LHS 449, 12 to Birkeland City in Ross154, and 12 to Yamazaki Landing in Wise 0855-0814. At Yamazaki landing, I was contacted by the Dweller. I am amazed that he reached out so fast... and a little concerned. Clearly my inquiries have raised his attention. At least, I am expected I suppose. In any case, I sold my remaining 32 tons at Yamazaki to rid myself of the illicit cargo and to prevent any further risk of fine from authorities.
Now, I have obtained the location of the Dweller, I will be off to meet them in person.
