The squadron I have signed up to fly with and our aligned political faction have seen conflict. It would seem that the Phra Shenty Silver Energy Co didn't take kindly to our success and rapid rise in influence. Short weeks after gaining influential control over Porges Landing we are now at odds with PSSEC. So be it. This is where the Belligerent Renegades shine. 
The diverse group of Commanders have many different skill sets, combat not the least of these. I myself decided to participate as well. Having engaged in some minor skirmishes, I was not prepared at all for what I was about to experience. Bounty hunting and all out conflict are very much different. About the only similarity is that in both cases, you deploy hard points. I will say, I am thankful that commanders and pilot's alike have the decency not to shoot escape pods. I am glad for this as I am now flying the Gold Digga 4.0. As the saying goes, Don't fly without rebuy. I think that at the suggestion of some of my squadron mates I may build a dedicated combat vessel and relegate my Python, Gold Digga, to mining and general purpose as first intended. For combat, I may get something with a fighter hanger, a Krait MkII was recommended. I think I could fly one of these.
I digress, reports show that we are achieving victory across the system. PSSEC, while quickly provoked, clearly wasn't prepared to come against the Federal Constitutionalists with the backing of the Belligerent Renegades. And after learning some quick lessons and dumping quite a bit of money, we will be overthrowing a foreign power who has been in controls of our system for far too long.
