Setting up Fire Groups at Miletus Beacon, 83 Tau Piscium

I have been advised the best way to use firegroups is to assign the following:COLUMN 1 - Thermal Weapons on #1 (To kill shields) and Kinetic/Explosive Weapons on #2 ( To destroy armor)
COLUMN 2 - Defensive Countermeasures. There are numerous types and its really personal preference which triggers to assign.
COLUMN 3 - System Boosters: Shield Bank Cells are particularly useful here. If your shields are partially down, pop one for instant recharge.
Also they advise not putting more than 2 different Weapon/system types in each column, otherwise you risk deploying stuff that you don't want to use.
