Exploration Log: Entry 3 Unlocked Sol Permit

Unlocked Sol permit!!!I can't tell you how excited I was when the Federal Navy sent me my Sol permit. As someone who grew up in a starport near the edge of bubbles, I always wanted to visit the cradle of humanity. I wanted to see Earth with my own eyes, wanted to feel its soil under my boots, wanted to breath the air that raised humanity into a spacefaring race.
Guess I've always been one of sentimentality and a dreamer. These, dare I call them "Qualities", were what got me here in the first place. I went against the wills of my family and the corporation, to become an independent pilot, a "Commander".
Obtaining the permit turned out to be much easier than I previously anticipated. CMDR Hawkes made it sound like a trivial matter, which I doubted in the first place. True to his words though, getting the permit turned out super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Took me a few hard days to grind through all the missions, of course, and the lockdown at Ceos was quite annoying. Still, I got my permit. In the end that's all that mattered.
My hands are sweating as I put this entry into my logbook. My hands are shaking. This is a dream come true for me... A dream I never thought would be realized so soon.
I got my surface scanner, I got rid off all the unwanted modules...
I'm ready.
Sol, here I come!
