Expedition log 2: Crash landed.

It's been awhile since my last log entry. A dereliction of duty of sort; Definitely an improper practice by a spacer.

I'd like to say the reason is well justified, as I covered more than 27000 light years since, while FSS scan and DSS scan every system and every interesting bodies.

Needless to say, with the amount of work needed to be done, I found it incredibly difficult to squeeze out the time in between routine repairs and refuels to write expedition logs.

But I digress.

Joining Heart of the Storm 3307 may have been the best decision I made since becoming a CMDR. It brought me to different interesting POIs that I may have never even thought of visiting. It brought me to sites that are wildly hazardous yet breathtakingly beautiful. For that, I will never regret signing up.

However, an expedition is not without its perils. I crash landed on a 2G planet just now. My shields are completely gone and my ship's hull went down to 70%. It was a hard landing and honestly it was my fault. Granted, I wasn't feeling very well. But that shouldn't be a problem, as I could've made a more careful approach.

It's definitely a wake up call for me, as there are no ports or carriers where I can repair my ship. The best course of action right now is to plan each jumps and each landings even more carefully. I can't afford to get trapped into the gravity well of a celestial object any more... Not if I want to reach WP 12.

I still have a long way to go.
