Commander's Log: 26 August, 3302: A Rocky Road Ahead

It has been a few days since the Arque campaign ended, and since then I have taken a break from bounty hunting. Recently I had a spike in curiosity, and wished to see what the life of a miner was like. I purchased an Adder at a nearby station and fitted her with all the necessary components. After a few moments of flying, I decided to name her the Villager; a weak and insignificant little thing but critical to the workings of the whole. After roughly fifteen minutes of practice with my new limpet drones, I found myself actually enjoying the process. I melted a few rocks and watched happily as the little drones worked tirelessly to collect each little shard, with my progress only halted by an extremely limited cargo space.
With my very first chunk of osmium in hand I decided to return home. They weren't lying when they said mining was calming work. If I continue down this new path, I may sell the villager for a larger, more cargo friendly, ship. Currently I have my eyes on an attractive Cobra Mk IV that has been sitting at the dealership for awhile now.
