Today was a short detour to an unnamed unmarked nebula (hidden by a planetary nebula 1,000 ly above it). Based on it's shape I named it the "Octopus Nebula". I could have stopped by for some pictures and a note about its two sister nebula (Skaudai and Flyiedgai) but I wanted to get underway with Traikeou H0 and H2 as quickly as possible (3446.18 LY to go!) and that meant a bee-line up and away from my travel corridor. Just moments after arriving, it was time to leave the Octopus behind.
Today's main systems were fairly bland. Nothing really stuck out as I darted from star to star, but that might have been my impatience speaking. A fellow CCN Pilot named Alesia suggested a beautiful system with an Earth-like planet I could visit on the way back though. It was only 400 LY from one of my main corridor checkpoints too!
In the meantime I look towards the future, to places yet untraveled, stories yet untold.
