IT'S HAPPENING

As I make this entry, I'm the the hangar of an outpost controlled by pirates, having delivered a team of... soldiers or mercenaries, along with my client, via biowaste canisters into the outpost's warehousing area.I'm trying my best to hold it together. Been in New Prospects while in an outpost's hangar before, but it's never felt so foreboding until now. I half-expect some pirates to board the ship and kill me.
Why did I enter that, it's just made me feel even worse.
I guess I should start from a few hours earlier: I got the message that the team was ready and good to go, so I should make my way to the Long Night of Solace, the modified Imperial Cutter. Upon arriving there, I met two new people: Angelina and Pinpoint. They were part of the extraction team and looked like veteran fighters; I wouldn't want to cross them any time, ever.
Mr Vadamee probably sensed my unease, and sent me to the find Mr Miller and get the Sidewinder ready. I got in, and soon after, I could hear the Imperial Cutter undock and engage its thrusters. It felt odd to be at the cockpit of a ship but not controlling it. Not too long after, I could hear the FSD charging up, before we zipped into hyperspace.
That happened for a number of times. I lost count, but it was at least ten. Quite a long trip.
Soon after all that jumping, I was called into action. We had dropped out of supercruise, on the far side of the planet away from the station. The bay doors of the internal hangar open, and I started the launch process, guiding the ship away from its parent ship. After that, it was pretty routine, like any trade deals I've done: Get into supercruise, get near the station, drop out of supercrusie at the appropriate speed and distance, request permission to dock, then move the ship to the appropriate landing pad. Once docked, initiate the cargo transfer process.
That was the last I heard from the team. So here I am, waiting for them to return.
Fuck, I'm hearing all kinds of nosies now... and was that an explosion? I better get the ship ready for take off, something tells me we will be needing to leave in a hurry.
