The Cursed Expedition Part 1

September 19th, 3308While I was sitting at the bar in Eudaemon Anchorage waiting for my Anaconda to arrive so I could mine in a nearby Bromillite hotspot I scouted out yesterday I overheard some explorers talking about a expedition that was supposedly cursed. They mentioned that everyone who went on it ended up dead or missing under mysterious circumstances. I talked to my contacts in the Azura Initiative since the explorers mentioned that the expedition originated somewhere near Great Annihilator which is currently the center of their territory and they confirmed what the explorers were saying. They begged me not to follow their trail due to the danger involved but let me look at the information they had about the cursed expedition. According to the information provided the expedition departed Azura Space on 2/16/3308 but mysteriously disappeared on 3/4/3308 after departing for the 7th waypoint. The chatter that was recorded indicated that everything was going fine and no problems were expected. I copied the waypoints to the computer of my Aspx and told my contacts I was going to go anyway despite the danger. Before the call ended they mentioned one of their own was making the trip themselves and has survived so far which I found to be odd considering what happened to everyone else who went. Once the call ended I went to the hanger where my ship was and departed for the system the expedition started in. I’m planning to collect all the raw mats I can get my hands on especially for the fsd injections and afmu refills along the way. I just hope this curse turns out to be nothing.
