Exploration Log

CMDR's Log - It has been approximately 40 days since my latest adventures off into the Void and already I have received long range communication of possible Thargoid resurgence back in the Bubble. I'm now conflicted if I should return back to my carrier that's 29,000 plus light years away from my current location. I have only accomplished part of my goals, and that's the exploration of Hieronymus Delta, The Conduit, Outer Scutum-Centaurus, and the Outer Arm. I'm currently on course for the Void sector and after that Aquila's Halo. After Aquila's Halo I wanted to work my way down to Errant Marches, hit part of the Outer Arm, make my way through Perseus Arm, Orion-Cygnus Arm, and the Inner Orion-Perseus Conflux before heading back to the carrier.
The carrier sits in the Galactic Centre awaiting my arrival, however, if I stay the course it will take my approximately 3 to 4 months to make it back. By that time the last Thargoid Titan may do something catastrophic. I have split time between scanning planetary bodies and exobiology, which adds time to each sector I'm exploring. I may just hit the Void and Aquila's Halo then make my way back to the carrier. It will cut my time, but give me a chance to ready my Thargoid Hunter ships to lend a hand in the finally battle.
