I walked forward again following the question I threw at Meowers and then wrote off, toward the tower with a slide, or several. Most people seemed to try avoiding the giant figure following me like I had an oversized bodyguard, instead looking at me. And most of those looks were directed at either my chest or those curves below my waist. Somewhat annoying, when I didn’t like to be observed in such an obvious manner.
Once at the top of the tower - where Meowers had no hopes of ever following me - I chose a slide that was a relatively straight drop, over the one that spiralled around a central point, to its left. Less of a chance that I managed to slow down and get stuck on my oversized bulk, since I had no clue how it would behave on one of these. Once I was sure no one was at the bottom in the pool, I stepped forward and grabbed on the handle bar, ready to swing on.
“Hey, you sure you’re gonna make it down there with that fat ass?”, someone remarked behind me.
I returned the favor with a middle finger in the general direction of the noise, without looking, then shouted down to Meowers.
“Here goes!”
With as much swing as I could manage, I threw myself flat onto the slide, and went down at a… relatively quick speed, but kind of uncomfortable position thanks to all the mass down there on my body. Then the pool arrived, and that landing made quite a splash for my size. I quickly cleared it, though, since I fully expected people to follow behind me.
Meowers had been sitting on the edge of the pool, her gaze locked on their lower ends, patiently watching for me to appear from one. Finally, I arrived and reached the water, sending it to right about the edge of the pool with the splash.
"Yaaaay!", once my head appeared over the water surface, she looked at me and shouted, stretching her arms towards me and pointing both index fingers. "That's the way to go!"
Then slowly, trying to make it look like an accident, she leaned forward, and kept bending until she finally lost her balance, then spread her arms widely and slapped flat into the water, face down. The water immediately found its way into her nose, causing her to emerge quickly and sneeze.
"Pffft! Argh.... Yay! That was awesome! So, how's the... landing gear?", and she laughed amusedly right after dropping that question.
”Oh my god, your jokes are just awful.”
I could only say that while walking forward in the water, and straightening the lower half of my not-quite-ordinary bikini out - but decided not to leave the pool, instead sitting down on one of the underwater stairs to remain submerged up to the neck.
"Hells, let me build up some experience!", Meowers giggled in return, following me to the stairs. That pool wasn't as deep as the previous one and she could almost stand vertically in it, at least just a slight movement of a foot touching the floor was enough for her to appear above the surface. "How often did you see me making jokes... About not something you really shouldn't?"
“Other than your usual sarcastic comments… nothing that I can remember. And it makes for a good cushion, thanks a lot. Thought I already told you sitting on all that… extra, takes a bit of getting used to. And speaking of, someone thought they just had to comment on it up there. So I gave them a present.”
I flicked my middle finger off the thumb of my right hand indicatively.
“Oh, and while I’m thinking about it, how well do you think I’d float? Not that this is the right pool to try. And I might go down that funny… funnel, all the way on the left.”
I meant whether my breasts would allow me to float better, but didn’t quite feel like saying that outright, even within this virtual, consequence-free space.
"I'd say... Go for it. I'm totally sure I can't even think of fitting inside one of them, but you..."
She placed her elbows on the edge, pushing herself out of the water a little, and looked at me, grinning.
"Those turns and spirals should be fun!", shaking her body slightly left to right, she threw an indicative look at her own chest. Still too small, in proportion, to be a good example, but I understood the meaning. It took only a couple of seconds for another outburst of laughter to totally overpower her, and she finally relaxed her hands, sliding down slowly and giggling. "Phah... You got it."
“You won’t be seeing any of it anyway.”, I quipped back, then stood up out of the water… only to be caught in a breeze that made me feel like I was suddenly freezing. And dip back in the water for a few seconds.
“… maybe I’ll go when that wind has passed.”
I observed the movement of tree leaves to tell when it was ‘safe’ to abandon my spot in the shallow water, then I grabbed a sort of rubber carpet from the ground designed to slide on - since the funnel had some kind of sign with them, it was my assumption that they were recommended for it, or something of the sort.
A minute later, I stood up at the very top of the tower again, right by the entrance of that funnel slide. A regular, enclosed tube connected to it, the funnel itself being open-topped. Suddenly, I felt a bit unsure, especially once I got to the front of the line.
“Come on. You’re walking around here with that body, but you’re afraid of going down that thing?”
The same voice of that kind of rude guy from before. If he was following me around, he’d have another thing waiting. A two point five meter thing, to be precise. For now, I rolled my eyes and stepped aside, letting others go ahead first. A few minutes afterward, I finally wound up the courage to go… waving to the very clearly visible Meowers before I went down.
My initial idea for a pose had been to lay on the ‘carpet’ head first, with my chest on the ground, but I was advised to do the contrary, and assume a regular laid position on the back. Something about keeping the mass down at the back more than the front. So that’s how I went down, and no description about how going around the circular funnel repeatedly caused certain types of movement was necessary, other than that it further added to the excitement, on top of the sounds coming out of meas I circled closer and closer to the center, until gravity speeding me up no longer counteracted friction enough to stay in the funnel.
Then I was dumped right in the middle of the whole thing, and fought with directional senses and lots of water falling on me, to get clear of it. Could certainly do without a human dropping on my head to make things worse. I rejoined Meowers once clear of that mild predicament.
“Okay, that was fun, but maybe I’ll limit it to once per visit. Getting dumped underneath all that water flowing out is hella disorienting. I’d say you could fit, if it wasn’t for that closed tube connecting to it.”
I sat down in the pool’s water again, which was more comfortable than being out exposed to the air.
“Oh, and the weird guy was up there too. I’m not gonna say he is following me around, but he might be.”
A certain glance told Meowers that she was entirely free to go about the problem as she pleased, if it became one again.
"Hmmm," she made her typical 'I am thinking' sound.. "Ow. Have you remembered his face? Like, he clearly enjoys the view, and I can't blame him for that... Phah. But yep, I know what to do."
”Uh… sure.” I lowered my voice a little, to ‘between us’ conversation levels.
“Looked like… standard average male. Brown hair, no beard. Maybe around thirty, forty years? About as tall as I am, just a bit more muscly and all that stuff. Think he had some kinda funny tattoo on… one of the shoulders. Trust me, you’ll know when you see it.”
Meowers slid down into the water and nodded towards the slides, floating with her arms spread out.
"Have another ride, and I'll wait for you, and for him, here. Once he drops out of the tube, signal me somehow. He's up for another kind of entertainment," saying that, she grinned and made a visible wink.
I looked around. He was nowhere to be seen.
“Okay, I guess I’ll just go for another, then. I want to check that one with the spiral tube anyway. The one where you go in with those big inflatable rings. Judging by the sounds coming out, it’s got some fun turns and speed in it.”
I thought about standing up, only to realize, I kind of did want to know what she wanted to do, and needed to know where I should look for her.
“Well, first, what do you have in mind?”
The question was accompanied by a certain, expecting look, since I was, well, expecting a show.
"Let's say... Our little fellow is about to learn flying," Meowers made a wild smirk and then turned around, leaving one elbow on the edge of the pool, and 'scanned' the crowds with her eyes slowly moving side to side.
"I've never been sneaky, yet I guess the noise of all that water coming from the tubes should do fine at masking my movements", she added with the same lowered voice. "And... It's up to you, but you also could make him more... Interested in following you. For those instant karma bonus points, you know? Phah."
She let out a quiet giggle and looked at the waterslides once more, figuring out the best spot for her little ambush.
”Make things interesting, huh? Yeah, sure, I’ll do that.” A mischievous tone had snuck into my voice, keeping it low again. “Watch my hands when I come back. Going to sit at the pool’s edge with my legs half in the water.”
With that said, I got up and grabbed an inflatable ring that was still full of air, instead almost limp - partly a necessity, thanks to my enlarged body. That pickup task alone required me to bend down, and when I had the ring… added a bit of artificial swaying to already quite noticeable hip movement, owing to their width. If mister curvy woman was still around, he wasn’t making his presence known, even when I entered the slide.
My own entrance to the pool down below was a bit of a show of its own, as after a quite fun and, in the wrong regions of my body, moved, ride, the braking force applied by the water caused the back of the ring to tilt upward enough to eject me from it and send me face first into the water. With enough force to feel it in a certain part of the chest, as it deformed from the impact. Not too pleasant.
I emerged from it sneezing water out of my nose and shaking my head, a bit embarrassed and dazzled. The inflatable ring had overtaken me, so I swam forward and grabbed it, tossing it on the pile of other rings, and then waited by the pool’s edge.
When I did see a certain figure with a funny tattoo come out of a slide, I moved my arms off my thighs - which, of course, would expose that interesting part to viewing more - and placed them beside my hips, letting my fingers play with the water. Hopefully, that was enough of a sign for Meowers, without looking suspicious to a certain observer.
Meowers, on her side of the deal, had casually floated closer to the zone where the waterslides were dropping off their victims, where she’d spent a few minutes keeping her eyes on my hands, which also provided a convenient excuse for keeping her eyes on my... ‘features’. Of course, this made her grin like an idiot.
Spotting my signal, she scanned the people in front of her, with her eyes going side to side, until she noticed our presumed culprit: a man about 30's, brown hair, and quite a vulgar tattoo on the left shoulder. Just out of the waterslide, he was shaking his head and getting his bearings after the landing, which gave her a bit of a head start. She floated closer, approaching from behind and gave him a gentle tap on the shoulder.
"I heard you wanted some fun, hm?", she grinned wildly, bracing herself to dive quicker, so that he won't see much of her when turning around. Once her feet touched the pool floor, she propelled herself upwards as hard as she could, and she could do it well since her legs were obviously the stronger part of her body. She jumped out of the water, grabbing him by the waist and forcefully pushed her arms vertically to add even more force. And, at the highest point, she let go of him, launching the poor bastard a few metres above the surface and quickly getting out of the calculated point of impact.
Waving his arms and legs chaotically and yelling surprisedly, in quite an offensive language, the guy reached the peak point of his flight, and gravity did the rest of the job, smacking him flat into the water, causing a violent splash, which then was followed by even more socially inappropriate expletives.
By the time he regained his ability to float and sneezed all the water out of his nasal cavities, Meowers was already sitting on the pool edge next to me and, of course, grinning and giggling, covering her mouth with her hand in order not to laugh too hard while she watched the show.
I, for one, observed the scenario in front of me with great delight, though a mostly neutral expression was on my face, not quite giving away that I rather enjoyed seeing the not-so-innocent observer get screwed with. It was also quite hard to miss all of the cursing and helplessly flailing about when the totally-normally-sized Meowers provided the man with some quite unexpected air time.
A few observers also curiously took in the scene as well, clearly not too sure what to think of it, even when the man hit the water with a quite loud splosh.
“I’d say you had more fun than he did.”, I remarked to Meowers. “Especially since you had an excuse to observe those certain parts of my body quite well.”
Then I shouted after the guy that couldn’t help but look at my body, still fighting with remnants of water in his nose.
“Think about the friends a woman has next time you watch like that!”
I looked back at Meowers, who could barely control herself, and looked ready to explode in laughter.
“You got any other ideas what we should do around here? Or maybe go look around in another part of the city? As much as I enjoy people getting totally distracted by these parts - “A hinting look down at my body. “ - and expecting them to stare, I think we’ve caused enough chaos here for a day.”
The man walked out of the pool where the slides ended, still cursing and muttering something to himself, now looking primarily at Meowers.
“You think that guy was a player?”, I then asked her, seeing as the reaction was not quite that I expected of one of the non-player characters roaming around, though they were quite lifelike as well.
"Pffft... I give it... Like, 80%," finally suppressing the urge to laugh, she shrugged, "Unless the devs really went into that rabbit hole and programmed some annoying personalities to make it fully realistic. Because we both know the world is full of arseholes."
Then she rubbed her chin, thinking, and gave that guy another glance; he was walking away, still flailing his arms angrily, looking quite upset.
"Nah, 95%. They won't. If anyone's special feelings," and she made a pair of quotation marks in the air, "get hurt by an NPC, their sales are bound to plummet. So what we see now from those dummies might be a... Diluted version of how a living person would react."
She narrowed her eyes, thinking.
"Imagine being banned from a 'strictly super realistic blah blah blah normies only' server having a body like that and then contacting the admins telling them that's how you actually look. Phah. Anyway... Yeah, we might go just walking around the place and looking at stuff. Listening to those weird random ideas people would totally hate us for in real life."
”Guess why I thought it’d be better to just make a server of my own. Totally saw some of those ‘follow the rules to a T or get the boot’ ones when I looked.”
I let my feet move around underneath the water, feeling… quite content, doing that, for some reason.
“And, yeah, people would totally give us weird looks for this stuff. Or, at least, yours. In my case, they might get too distracted to think about the fact that this is a bit too big for the rest of my body, by that it’s those, uh, ‘features’. And speaking of that, I’ve got… another idea, but not in front of a bunch of staring people. I mean, I won’t explain it here.”
I remained sat at the edge of the pool, waiting to see where the conversation would go before we left.
"Hmmm!" Meowers raised her eyebrow inquisitively. "Then we might as well go somewhere else, where you could."
"And, as for the weird stuff... Hey, it's not completely unrealistic, phah," she pointed her index fingers at herself, "I mean, it's... One in some billions chance level of realistic. And people already think I'm weird and not acting and looking like they may expect of me."
She paused for a little moment, possibly thinking of how that might look in the real world... Again. And then replied.
"...hmmmm... So. Weird ideas you won't show in front of a random crowd? Count me in!"
“Well, it’s not… that weird, still related to this body. But… well, you’ll see. And I have some other even weirder stuff to try, but, later. Maybe also an outfit I’d never wear in public.”
I shifted around on the ‘totally-not-a-meat-cushion’ that were my hips, and thighs for that matter, not really feeling like talking about it more right now.
“Let’s just go around the city a bit more first, yeah? Then we can, I don’t know, go back to your private place or something. Or somewhere we know nobody’s gonna watch.”
I was tempted to stand up, but decided to rather wait for Meowers’ response first.
"Speaking of my private place... I should totally customise it one day later. I like the whole idea of a simplistic apartment, but, you guess. Phah," she chuckled, running thoughts of where we could head next. Yet, it looked like she wasn’t very successful at it. She pulled her legs out of the water and pressed them closer to the body, letting her chin rest between the knees, relaxing the shoulders and wrapping her arms around herself.
“Well, yeah. It was a preset for a regularly sized person, after all. Just leave some furniture for me to sit in that isn’t waist high”, I remarked, then stretched my arms outward, in a fairly relaxed manner, and listened as Meowers went on a completely different thought track.
"You know what?.. I can't remember the last moment I enjoyed casually and aimlessly walking around. It was always more like moving myself from A to B to do stuff. Seems like the whole big piece of life is missing where it should've been. And I... I don't like it."
Meowers sighed deeply, shrugging, then continued to think aloud.
"Like, this entire place, it should be a simulation of an 'average town' of sorts, with all the common generic stuff you may encounter in one. Maybe we might get to the main street, where all the paths converge, and find something to do there. Or just sit on some bench and look at the crowds. After changing back to the proper clothing of course, phah."
“Sure. Definitely wasn’t gonna go walking around in this swimwear in public. I’ll get enough attention as it is, and I’m sure you want the spotlight too.”, I replied. “Anyway, yeah, let’s go.”
I pulled my legs out of the water and stood up, heading right for the entrance where the changing cabins were, not without a certain satisfaction at some of the faces that turned to look as I passed. Before they began to look at Meowers, at least.
Meowers was walking slowly, sticking to my pace, with her eyes half-shut and turned to the sun, and with a smile on her face. Not paying any attention to the curious or shocked looks. Because that wasn’t so important, as her own perception of the moment.
With her previous 'cabin predicament experience' in mind, she changed back to her publicly-appropriate clothes quicker, and didn’t slip up and smack on her backside, or get stuck in a little rectangular plastic can. Not without some bonking into the walls and muffled mild curses though. And soon, she caught up with me, wearing the same short thick leather jacket and other stuff that's been on her before.
"Ah, I should get myself a pair of those classic sunglasses...", she muttered quietly, pulling down the edges of the unzipped jacket and flexing the shoulders, as if to make the thing fit perfectly. And show off a little, of course.
"Let's go then."
