GAS GEYSERS ON A RANDOM PLANET & MULTIPLE CARRIER JUMPSHi Cmdrs,
Today, whilst in the Asp on the Carrier, I worked out 7 jumps for The Carl Sagan in a Northerly direction whilst I set off East in the Asp. I set the Carrier on its first jump and set off myself on the 76 jumps to the Rayet Star I’ve picked.
En route I came across a planet with several Geological Sites so I decided to go down and investigate.
I can’t really pick up any materials at these sites because I’m usually full of the type you find here, what I do like collecting is photos and vista’s, look at this one.
The vent in front of me is spewing both liquid and gas at the same time.
I then drove around more going down a steep hill and across some very rough terrain, eventually I was on the other side of the ravine looking over to the Asp parked at the top of the hill I’d come down. It dawned on me I’d got to get back up there!
As I returned to the Ship (I managed the hill) I also took this composition.
It shows the SRV, the Asp, the large celestial body is the Moon (I’m on a satellite of that Moon), the main Planet, a Geyser, the strange red rocks strewn around the site and in the distance the Sun for this system.
I returned to the Asp and took off to continue the journey, here I am leaving all that behind.
With 28 jumps still to do I have landed on a planet for the evening and had a little drive about taking this image.
It’s quite dark here so I shouldn’t have any trouble sleeping, although it might be a bit spooky.
