Gnosis, Guardians, and Thargoids....OH MY!

Well. Its been quite the week trying to get all the parts and equipment ready for my trip out to the Gnosis. The news is all a buzz with the threat of Thargoids on in the Cone systems. So I had a choice to make. Haul my Vette all the way out there or dust of the Krait and get it ready to not go toe to toe with the bugs but be able to still explore and get away from them as needed. To do that I needed some more guardian tech which I described in my last entry. Turns out the ship blueprints I gave the technology brokers were not the first they had seen. Other commanders have been giving them these too, and were able to come up with some small fighters with guardian tech based weapons. These should help me out in the Cone sectors. Best thing about a fighter.... you deploy it let the thargoid go after it and then you run like hell!
I also poked around some other ancient sites I found near the ruins the beacon sent me too. This site was very interesting looks like either a mining operation, a communications array, or some kind of temple. I would very much like to know what it was used for. Must be the archaeologist in me.
After getting the Batoidea (named after the aquatic skates and rays of Terra Batoidea), outfitted finally and getting all the equipment I would need shipped to the Gnosis I started my long treck. It took 44 jumps to make it there. Luckily I took my time and a less traveled route finding some un-explored systems. Two of which contained earth like and water worlds that could support life without terraforming! You know what that means!! Yes credits! I made 2.9mil on that run. Not to bad. Hoping to make as much in the Cone sectors.
Finally I got to the Gnosis. Boy was I glad to get there. I may do some exploring and tinkering with my ship before they jump but I am here now and ready to go. Feeling the excitement of a whole new area to explore.
