Well thought I would make an update. I have been getting in on the mining rush for Void Opals now that galactic prices are at the $1.6 million per ton. With those kinds of prices there is no way I could pass this up. Especially since I finally was made a Duke by the Imperium. I need the money to buy that Cutter I have been wanting for hauling cargo and passengers.
So here I sit cracking rocks in an icy ring of a planet I don't want to mention. This claim is mine. So go find yer own! Just kidding the old mining claim mentality kicking in a bit. Mostly cause pirates are everywhere these days. Other miners don't worry me but the pirates are a bit of a nuisance. I can handle them in the Krait MKII with no problem but it is annoying and takes a cut out of profits. Might be good to pick up the bounty hunting in these locations and help out some of the other miners. Maybe they will drop a few tons of void opals in gratitude? Maybe....probably not... Greed is strong in this galaxy.
Well anyway back to cracking rocks.
