Been hearing good things from the DW2 Expedition fleet. Lots of Commanders are out there exploring. Glad to hear its going well. Back in the Bubble a few of us are kicking around doing work as normal. Factions don't just wait for you to return.
I did take a quick lull in the wartime effort to do some exploring of my own. Found my first Lagrange cloud and explored the crystalline structures that are found in them. Still no biological organisms but very interesting to see anyway. I have also been checking out some of the geological features on the planets. Some pretty cool geysers and magma flows.
My ship the AWS Dasytidae has proved really excellent in exploration. Somewhere between a DBE and an Anaconda, I cannot complain. 65ly Jump range and enough internal space to do what I need. Makes it much better than the DBE for everything but the most long range and endurance heavy missions that a Anaconda would be needed for. It is also super comfortable to fly and with great visibility through its cockpit for landing on tricky planetary terrain. Over all I am more than happy with its performance.
