Peace?

Has Peace finally descended on Aces Wild controlled space? We lost HIP 110147 to the Freelancers, just could not muster enough forces to hold it any longer and conceded defeat. This was after they broke a signed peace agreement with the Coalition and us stating essentially that they recognize no authority over them any longer. Their attack on HIP 110147 followed shortly after.
What we had not expected was a full on counter attack by them into our home system of Bangyani. They had only ever been interested in HIP 110147 before. We fought the good fight as always but could not retain control of Staus Station and the system as a hole. We started stetting up Guerrilla operations of of Dozios Relay when all of the sudden the Freelancer forces withdrew from the system. We were stunned. Communications with them seem to indicate they did it for fun...?
Well its been a week later and we are not putting the pieces back together and working on expansion into some other areas and away from the Freelancers. We have met some great allies in the process and will also work to help build their empires and do what we can for them.
So peace? yes maybe...for now.. never know for sure in this crazy galaxy.
