So a week or two ago I was doing missions on and off at Avik for HOT and others. I got bored so on my way home in the Boise (Python) I thought I'd drop in at the navigation buoy for as little bounty hunting. All was going well, and then I got over confident (and greedy). Another python showed wanted, I figured "He's in a python, I'm in a python I can take him". So I waded in. What I hadn't seen was they were rated deadly. I was doing OK until they snapped around and I think focused on my canopy. In a flash I had a broken canopy. This was a new experience for me. I low waked out and headed to Geston Port. One difficulty was that much of my canopy was gone, so the information that displays on the canopy was not available. I managed to show up at Geston port with ~90 seconds left. That was the fastest dock I've ever done, even so I only had about 20s left before I got into the station and there was breathable atmosphere. I think I'll leave bounty hunting to the challenger and other ships tuned for it, it will save on the space suit cleaning bills...
