So lots of simple messing about with the corvette. Anything less than an FDL just goes up like ashes. FDLs the other Fed hardware, and challenger family present little issue singly and not bad in pairs. Anacondas, fellow 'vettes and Cutters are only possible if there's a fair number of system folks stooging around, but I'm getting better. Was busily getting new engineers and was out near Eurybia. Jumped to a neighboring system and was working in a High res. Things were going well, 500K or so in bounties. Had gathered all sorts materials and a few limpets that had been dumped. Then my luck went sour. I fumbled and my lock went from the Challenger to a system viper. I dropped his shields nearly instantly and did him some damage. All of a sudden EVERYTHING went red and started shooting at me. I realized my mistake and boogied out of there. Damage at 65% but not that bad. Headed for the local station. I'll have to dock with anonymous access but the 500Cr bounty should be easy to pay off. I get to the station start autodock and am happily listening to Blue Danube. I get scanned and all of a sudden all hell breaks loose. Those stupid limpets are considered STOLEN so now the station is shooting me , a cloud of vipers is shooting me and shields are back down. I turn the Vette around and once again put all pips on engine and system. I manage to High wake out, with 13% damage remaining. Wandered home to my base at Geston Port in PSPF-LF2. Made it but no Interstellar Factor. I moved there just for the factor. Luckily there's one over in George Pantazis Zamka Platform and paid my debt to society. I'm beginning to wonder if this ship is cursed...
