About Société Virtuel de l'Au-delà

Société Virtuel de l'Au-delà
Virtual Society of the Beyond

Société Virtuel de l'Au-delà,
Pronounced Suavé,

A personal project dedicated to the art of piracy, laundering, exploration, and subversion. I engage in unconventional strategies to bend the rules of the galaxy, blending old-school pirate tactics with modern gameplay. Through subversive actions, I explore hidden opportunities and illicit operations, from smuggling and laundering stolen goods to uncovering rare, uncharted secrets. These exploits are woven into my fan-fiction, creating a universe where readers can discover and decode the shadows of my journey.

Arbitrage.
I like to profit more than once, using Arbitrage. That is to sell, buy, then sell again, to take advantage of differences in price to generate additional profit, on top of, my initial return.
  1. You pirate a ship and acquire cargo without any initial investment, except for time, fuel, and ammunition.
  2. You sell the pirated cargo for a profit of 100,000 credits.
  3. Using INARA, you find a place to buy the same cargo for 70,000 credits, leaving you with 30,000 credits in profit.
  4. Again using INARA, you find a place to sell the purchased cargo for 100,000 credits.
  5. By the end of the process, you have made a total profit of 160,000 credits (100,000 from the initial sale and an additional 60,000 from buying and reselling).

Note: It is easier to pirate ships on planets with 0.25 or lower gravity.
  1. You scan them with your manifest scanner and be more selective with your prey.
  2. You can better control their descent before they hit the planet and destroy themselves; Destroyed cargo does not pay.
  3. You can roll them on their back easier, exposing their cargo bay doors; Limpets will work through shields.
  4. The cargo will remain the air long enough for a collector limpet to grab them before they the ground; Limpets hitting the ground destroys them.

My General rules of Piracy
  1. Above all, patience.
  2. After scanning a target’s manifest, assess whether it's worth the effort. Allow them time to calm down and adjust their course before making your move.
  3. Be mindful of your approach when disabling and looting ships. Excessive force can backfire, leaving you with no booty to show for your trouble. It's often wiser to let the targeted vessel live to sail another day.
  4. Data and goods hold more value than corpses.
  5. Avoid interdicting ships near planets or stars, as well as those smaller than your hold.
  6. Never hunt for cargo in planetary rings, as none have cargo worth the risk.
  7. Never hunt for cargo or bounties in conflict zones; warships carry no cargo and offer no bounties.
  8. Do not compromise either your reputation or your profit easily.
  9. Always diversify your affairs; do not rely solely on piracy and bounties as your sole sources of income.
  10. When looking to trade in the open markets, use the funding provided by your pirated goods to make legal purchases. This way your initial cost is only what was required to obtain the items, allowing you to profit twice.
  11. Establish a bar at your earliest convenience. Here, you can fence what profits everyone while leveraging other black markets to sell items of questionable concerns.
  12. Always have more than one fallback plan.

System Selection Criteria
  1. Anarchy System
  2. Anarchy Faction ( prefer organic secondary minor faction but will entertain system ruler on case by case )
  3. Be mindful of BGS. No zero-sum is best.
  4. System Ship Traffic
  5. Not be in a War or Conflict State
  6. Settlements on Planets with under 0.25g
  7. Settlement Ship Traffic
  8. Settlement Ships Hauling Worthwhile Goods

A few areas of other concentration:
  1. Leverage sales, not commodity markets, to fund a fleet carrier, per annum.
  2. What to look for to find a mining hot spot in a ring that has none visible.
  3. Socio-political and economic warfare at the micro BGS level.
  4. How to leverage what lays between reputation and influence.
  5. Equitable data and material farming, near your location.
  6. True values to maintain and sustain profitability.

Who knows next when a character's action, thought, comment, or other, will drop an easter egg.
